Love this CUTE sequence with Marvin daughter, Vanessa. There’s a lot of LOVE going on with this family.



They started off the evening festivities with a dance in. Rocking out matching Kanye glasses.

It got a little teary for me as Tara sister recounted stories during speech time and proclaimed in the end that Tara is much more than just a sister to her, she’s her best friend. I love speeches during weddings because their so heartfelt.

Tara and Marvin friend performed a Hip Hop session to pump start the dancing for the evening.

We love traditions in weddings especially the Filipino money dance. Guest pin money onto the dress and the suit of the bride and groom and get to dance with them. This tradition is to bless the couple and give them a prosperous start together. Loving how everyone gets to take part in this.

AMBUSHED…..what started out as a safe garter toss turned into an ambushed on the groom. It’s a Winnipeg tradition we got wind of. We’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Kudos to Marvin for being such a good sport about it =D

I’ve known Angelique since High School and she’s very near and dear to my heart. When we were in first year at the University of Calgary, the place to hang out at was called the “fish bowl” in MacHall. It was named because it resembled a fish bowl with windows all around and an inlet from the main hallway. It was there that Tony saw Angelique for the first time. He knew he had to act fast or he’ll miss his opportunity. He knew they had a mutual friend, Oscar and he asked his friend to make the introduction. What started off as friendly outings with 4 or more people eventually became more exclusive for 2. Despite the fact that the fish bowl no longer exists now, their love and friendship continued to blossom. Fast forward to 12 years later and the day to make it official is finally upon them. Throughout the years I have watched them grow as a couple and as individuals. They complement each others in many ways and their positive traits have certainly rubbed off on each other. Tony is the determined and focused one. He’s very driven in life and always has Angelique’s best interest in mind. Angelique is the sweet, easy going, always there with a smile, a helping hand or shoulder you can cry on type of girl. Individually their both successful, but together they can take on the world.

Their wedding was set in their amazingly landscaped backyard, a place they can look out to everyday and remember the special moment which took place there. Thank goodness Mother Nature decided to co-operate with us that day as it provided us with a beautiful blue skies for the ceremony. However, living in Alberta, the weather is very unpredictable as several hours later, it poured half way through their formal session. The day was filled with love, laughter and many happy tears. The abundance of friends and family there on your special day is a testament to what incredible people you are.

Congratulations Ang and Tony and welcome to married life. We wish upon you a life filled with laughter, happiness and love. As a friend I’m beyond estatic that the two of you have found in each other what some take a lifetime to find. We’re blessed to be able to call you friends and looking forward to new adventures and more memories with the two of you.

The boys getting ready for the door games…..thought they could so easily sneak into the house unnoticed.

First task of punishment was a balloon popping relay. We asked for volunteers to sit in the chairs, the boys were so helpful volunteering one another. Kudos to Tony for popping 8 balloons in the record time of 14 secs =D

Next challenge tested Tony’s tastebuds. Can you tell what we’re feeding you?

Failure to guess right meant one of the groomsmen had to do pushups. Its like the guys rehearsed who was going to take the fall!!

I think hand motions encourage brain power, because Tony guess the last one right!!

Paying off the Bridesmaid is a chinese traditional to get to the bride. The groomsmen were no match for the bridesmaid negotiating abilities….and if you hide the money, they will surely find it.




With Tony being the youngest of ten siblings, he has officially tipped the family threshold from gigantic to ginormous. This was definitely the largest immediate family photos we have ever taken at a wedding (4 generations deep). Luckily there is still some space left in the photo for several more little Angelique and Tony’s for the next family photo as was wished upon them during the tea ceremony.










Love chinese reception games….they always make for great photos!!

I think Angelique guess “NO” for Tony in the first picture, but we decided to give her another chance. It was suppose to be a butt touching game only Angelique!!

Tony turn, can he find his bride just by touching calves? We were going to give him a second chance too but he was pretty adamant about his guess when he thought he found the right one. I think more leg and feet massages should be in order for Angelique a la Tony!!

Having causally met through mutual friends back in 2005. It wasn’t until 2 years later that things really hit it off between Danny and Carol. Carol was invited to tag along by mutual friends to Danny’s family camping trip. Maybe it was being in nature, the fresh air to clear the mind, free from the distraction of the big city, bonding over s’mores but something magical happened that trip and then they were inseparable. A few years later Danny proposed to Carol on the romantic docks of Kelowna to make their LOVE FOREVER.

Carol and Danny are one of the sweetest and funniest couples you could be around. Carol is the cute and organized one, Danny is the happy go lucky guy with a big heart. The two of them together, couldn’t be more perfect. They are one of the most genuine and heart warming people that we have met. Always willing to help and accommodating too. The number of friends and family in attendance at the wedding is a testament to what a gem you two are as individuals and even more as a couple.

Back in August, Carol and Danny made a pledge to one another amongst their close friends and family. Their ceremony took place in their reception hall at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino. The dance floor and centre of the reception was turned into a ceremony location by the talented Wedding by Laura. It allowed all their friends and guest to bear witness of the intimate ceremony. The wedding was stunning and couldn’t have been more perfect for two people that are perfect for each other. Thank you Carol and Danny for including us into your special day.

With wedding season finishing off, its a great way to end the year with family session. Maybe it’s the crisp autumn air and the changing of the leaves. But being able to spend some time outside and with this cute family makes it all the more enjoyable. Marie got a gift of this lifestyle session for her birthday from her friends. This is such a wonderful ideas because it’s the gift that keeps on giving as you can look back at these photos for years to come. We were the lucky ones to be able to spend some time with this exceptional family. Marie and Harold, you two are definitely parent role models. Conner and Hanna are definitely spliting images of you guys. They share your big personality and fun and happy outlook on life. Connor has a fearless curiousity and unsurmountable energy that was a joy to chase around to capture him being a kid. Hanna with her lady like demeanor, big eyes and easy going personality makes her uber cute and a perfect baby model. You guys are definitely a perfect little family and good looking to boot. I can’t get over how cute this session was.

Great friends share in all the happiness, sadness and the spicy-ness in life together. Kudos for consuming all the wasabi stuffed jalepenos guys, how you did it still boggles my mind!!

Your Simply Stunning Angelina!! The make-up was provided by the talented Monica Lam.

Candy station was a definite hit at the wedding. It gives guest something to nibble on through out the night and also a little something to take on the road with them.

The M&M cake toppers and surrounding M&M’s was created to represent the entire wedding party. It was uber cute and detailed, created by the ever so talented Belinda Ho.

For our big day we incorporated a photobooth as part of our receiving line and just to catch some fun and goofy pictures of us and the guest at the wedding. I’ll have to say that the biggest feedback we received was that everyone LOVED the PHOTOBOOTH. It was a huge success for both young and old as everyone really got into it. It gave everyone a chance to get dress up with the fun props and act goofy in front of the camera. Best part is that the guest and us will have some awesome pictures to reminisce with and remind us of the big day. Here’s a little video for everyone to enjoy. It still cracks us up no matter how often we look at these pictures. Hope it brings a smile to your face!!
