The ideas for the shoot was all planned by Eugene and Theresa. Picking a theme to the engagement shoot that was near and dear to their hearts. They requested shots on the C-train where it all started, a school for when they met and autumn tree lined streets that is reminiscent of a place that Eugene lived near and they took countless drives through, TOGETHER. How SWEET are the two of them are together. Brian’s usually the joker with his antics on these shoots but I think Eugene took the cake on this one. It wasn’t hard to see the two of them seamlessly hanging out, laughing and loving in front of out cameras. These two are like old friends even though we’ve met a handful of times. Sharing ice-cream, decoration tips and our love for chinese dramas. Thank you, Theresa and Eugene for being so GRACIOUS and LOVING. You two are the cutest together. We can’t wait for your big day in 2012.

Moving to a new city alone, he left his trusted fate to Google when searching for a new church in a new city;  What he didn’t know was he would also find his future wife , Eugenia, at this church.  I’m impressed at how powerful of a search engine Google has become.

Both Eugenia and Jeff flew all the way from GTA (Greater Toronto Area) to come to Calgary for their photo session here as they had fallen in love with the picturesque scenery the rocky mountains provided.

We are extremely happy to meet such a wonderful couple and the photos show how much love they have for each other.

When a connection that was meant to be misses an opportunity, there will be another one. Its like what they say “what’s meant to be will be”. That’s the story of UT and Thua. UT is from Ottawa. Thua’s hometown is Calgary. They both belong to the same faith. UT’s brother frequently travels out west and while attending church befriended Thua. Thinking that she would be perfectly suited to his brother back in Ontario, he decides to play match maker. A meeting was scheduled but of course life happened and their meeting was postponed. Life went on in their own world and they grew as individuals. A few years later, another chance presented itself to meet again. This time everything worked as planned. They met and instantly hit it off. They both claimed that it was literally love at first sight. Their search for the perfect partner ended just like that because in each other they found the “ONE”. Their love and relationship flourished even with miles of miles between them. After dating 1.5 years, UT proposed to close the distance gap of East and West. This July they will be tying the knot and making it official in Calgary.

The weather has been a bit crazy in Calgary. The threat of a snow storm warning days leading up to their shoot, meant we had to postpone the shoot. We rescheduled a few days later, but the bitter cold lingering from the snow storm was sometimes unforgiving. We have to give the two of them credit for putting up with the weather and the conditions. UT and Thua, your love for one another is so effortless and enduring. You two couldn’t be any cuter together. Cuddling to keep warm? YES please!! It sure makes for great pictures! From the bottom of our hearts thank you for doing everything we asked even if it meant sinking into snow at time. We can’t wait until the big day and trust us UT, the weather does get warmer in Calgary…..eventually. =)

We told UT and Thua to walk out onto a patch of undisturbed snow drift for this shot…..

Meet the Olsons: Scott, Eun Jeong, James, Quinton, and Christopher. What an energetic bunch as they ran all over the park. It was incredible to hang out for some family time with the Olson.We couldn’t have ask for better weather in November as the skies were blue and not a sign of old man winter around just yet.

James, Quinton and Christopher are pretty handsome and good looking boys. Its was cute to see that they all did the same expression when we told them to give us their best “funny” poses.

Meet James..loves video games and helps keep the other two brother in line.

Christopher…is the energetic and daring one, nothing was too high or too fast for him

Quinton…the quiet one of the bunch, but when told to strike a pose, could outmodel everyone.

James brought along his geeky glasses and the boys took turning modeling them. Have I told you how handsome they were b/c they even rocked out the geek glasses.

We loved that we got to spend some time with Scott and Eun Jeong alone. They were getting married within 2 weeks of this shoot and with the amount of love around, it almost felt like a mini engagement session. It was great that we were able to capture their love in our lens. Congratulations Scott and Eun Jeong on your recent wedding!! If these pictures are any indications, I’m sure you guys looked dashing and gorgeous on your wedding day.
